BOGOR KOTA – Sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap program pemerintah dalam mewujudkan Swasembada Pangan Nasional dan memperkuat Ketahanan Pangan, Polresta Bogor Kota melaksanakan kegiatan penanaman jagung kembali pasca panen di wilayah Kecamatan Bogor Timur, Kota Bogor.
Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan pada lahan pertanian yang sebelumnya telah memasuki masa panen. Penanaman kembali ini merupakan langkah nyata untuk menjaga keberlanjutan produktivitas lahan pertanian agar tetap optimal dan tidak dibiarkan menganggur setelah masa panen selesai.
Melalui kegiatan ini, Polresta Bogor Kota bersama kelompok tani dan masyarakat setempat berupaya mendorong peningkatan hasil produksi pertanian guna mendukung ketersediaan pangan yang berkelanjutan. Selain itu, penanaman kembali jagung juga menjadi salah satu strategi dalam memperkuat ketahanan pangan daerah serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan para petani.
Kapolresta Bogor Kota menyampaikan bahwa keterlibatan Polri dalam mendukung sektor pertanian merupakan wujud komitmen institusi dalam menyukseskan program-program strategis nasional yang berorientasi pada kepentingan masyarakat.
“Polri tidak hanya berperan dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat, tetapi juga turut mendukung program pemerintah yang bertujuan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, salah satunya melalui sektor pertanian. Kami berharap kegiatan penanaman jagung pasca panen ini dapat menjadi motivasi bagi masyarakat untuk terus memanfaatkan lahan pertanian secara produktif,” ujarnya.
Kegiatan tersebut juga menjadi sarana memperkuat sinergitas antara Polri, pemerintah daerah, kelompok tani, dan seluruh elemen masyarakat dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional. Kolaborasi yang terjalin diharapkan mampu menciptakan sektor pertanian yang semakin maju, mandiri, dan berdaya saing.
Dengan dilaksanakannya penanaman jagung kembali pasca panen di wilayah Bogor Timur, produktivitas lahan pertanian diharapkan dapat terus terjaga serta memberikan manfaat nyata bagi masyarakat. Langkah ini sekaligus menjadi bagian dari kontribusi Polresta Bogor Kota dalam mendukung terwujudnya Swasembada Pangan Nasional yang berkelanjutan.
