Kota Bogor-Dalam rangka mendukung program pemerintah menuju Swasembada Pangan Nasional serta memperkuat Ketahanan Pangan, jajaran Polresta Bogor Kota melaksanakan kegiatan penanaman jagung kembali pasca panen di wilayah Kecamatan Bogor Timur, Kota Bogor.
Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan sebagai upaya menjaga kesinambungan produksi pertanian sekaligus memanfaatkan lahan yang telah selesai dipanen agar tetap produktif. Penanaman kembali jagung ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil produksi pertanian serta memberikan kontribusi terhadap ketersediaan pangan di wilayah Kota Bogor.
Kapolresta Bogor Kota menyampaikan bahwa keterlibatan Polri dalam sektor pertanian merupakan bentuk dukungan terhadap program strategis nasional yang bertujuan meningkatkan kemandirian pangan masyarakat.
“Melalui kegiatan penanaman jagung kembali pasca panen ini, kami berharap dapat memberikan motivasi kepada masyarakat untuk terus mengembangkan sektor pertanian sebagai salah satu penopang ketahanan pangan daerah,” ujarnya.
Selain mendukung program Swasembada Pangan, kegiatan ini juga menjadi sarana mempererat sinergitas antara Polri, pemerintah daerah, kelompok tani, dan masyarakat dalam menjaga stabilitas pangan serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani.
Dengan adanya penanaman kembali pasca panen, diharapkan produktivitas lahan pertanian di wilayah Bogor Timur dapat terus terjaga dan memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat luas.
