BOGOR KOTA – Dalam rangka mendukung program pemerintah menuju Swasembada Pangan serta memperkuat Ketahanan Pangan Nasional, Kanit Binmas Polsek Bogor Timur Polresta Bogor Kota Polda Jabar melaksanakan kegiatan sambang dan penyuluhan kepada Kelompok Tani (Poktan) serta petani jagung binaan Polresta Bogor Kota di wilayah hukum Polsek Bogor Timur.
Kegiatan tersebut merupakan bagian dari komitmen Polri dalam mendukung sektor pertanian sebagai salah satu pilar penting pembangunan nasional. Kehadiran anggota Polri di tengah masyarakat tidak hanya berfokus pada pemeliharaan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (Harkamtibmas), tetapi juga turut berperan aktif dalam mendorong peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui penguatan sektor pertanian.
Dalam kegiatan tersebut, Kanit Binmas memberikan penyuluhan dan edukasi kepada para petani mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan lahan pertanian yang baik, pemanfaatan lahan produktif secara maksimal, serta upaya meningkatkan hasil panen jagung guna mendukung ketersediaan pangan di daerah. Selain itu, para petani juga diberikan motivasi agar terus semangat mengembangkan usaha pertanian meskipun menghadapi berbagai tantangan di lapangan.
Tidak hanya memberikan penyuluhan, Kanit Binmas juga melakukan dialog dan komunikasi secara langsung dengan anggota kelompok tani untuk mendengarkan berbagai aspirasi, masukan, serta kendala yang dihadapi para petani dalam proses budidaya jagung. Beberapa hal yang menjadi perhatian antara lain terkait pengelolaan lahan, perawatan tanaman, kebutuhan sarana pertanian, hingga strategi menghadapi musim tanam dan masa panen.
Melalui pendekatan yang humanis dan komunikatif tersebut, diharapkan terjalin hubungan kemitraan yang semakin erat antara Polri dan masyarakat, khususnya para petani. Sinergi yang baik ini menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang aman, kondusif, sekaligus produktif bagi kegiatan pertanian masyarakat.
Kapolresta Bogor Kota melalui jajaran Polsek Bogor Timur terus mendorong berbagai program pembinaan kepada kelompok tani sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap kebijakan pemerintah dalam mewujudkan kemandirian pangan. Upaya tersebut juga sejalan dengan program Polri Presisi yang mengedepankan pelayanan, perlindungan, dan pengayoman kepada masyarakat melalui berbagai kegiatan yang bermanfaat secara langsung.
Dengan adanya kegiatan sambang dan penyuluhan ini, diharapkan para petani jagung binaan Polresta Bogor Kota semakin termotivasi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian, memanfaatkan lahan secara optimal, serta berkontribusi dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan yang kuat dan berkelanjutan.
