Kota Bogor- Kapolda Jawa Barat Irjen Pol. Rudi Setiawan memimpin serah terima jabatan (sertijab) sejumlah pejabat utama Polda Jabar dan pelantikan Kapolrestabes Bandung di Mako Brimob, Cikeruh, Kabupaten Sumedang, Rabu (20/5/2026).
Dalam amanatnya, Irjen Rudi menyebut mutasi jabatan di lingkungan Polri merupakan bagian dari dinamika organisasi yang dilakukan secara terencana dan berkesinambungan. Menurutnya, pergantian jabatan bukan sekadar penyegaran organisasi, tetapi juga bagian dari regenerasi kepemimpinan.
“Mutasi jabatan bukan hanya sebagai bentuk penyegaran organisasi, tetapi juga merupakan proses regenerasi dari kepemimpinan, pengembangan karier, serta upaya peningkatan kinerja organisasi guna menjawab tantangan tugas yang semakin kompleks,” kata Irjen Rudi.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Irjen Rudi menyampaikan apresiasi kepada pejabat lama yang telah menjalankan tugas di lingkungan Polda Jabar. Ia juga mengucapkan selamat kepada para pejabat baru yang mendapat amanah jabatan.
Salah satu pejabat yang dilantik yakni Kombes Pol Dedi Supriyadi sebagai Kapolrestabes Bandung. Rudi mengatakan jabatan Kapolrestabes Bandung memiliki tantangan strategis karena Kota Bandung menjadi pusat pemerintahan, pendidikan, hingga ekonomi.
“Jabatan Kapolrestabes Bandung memiliki tantangan yang sangat strategis, mengingat Kota Bandung merupakan pusat pemerintahan, pendidikan, ekonomi, dan aktivitas masyarakat dengan dinamika kamtibmas yang tinggi,” ujarnya.
Irjen Rudi meminta seluruh jajaran Polda Jabar terus meningkatkan profesionalisme dan integritas dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Ia juga mengingatkan personel Polri menghindari segala bentuk pelanggaran yang dapat mencederai kepercayaan publik.
“Kehadiran Polri harus benar-benar dirasakan oleh masyarakat sebagai pelindung, pengayom, dan pelayan yang humanis serta responsif terhadap setiap permasalahan yang terjadi,” tuturnya.
Selain itu, Rudi mengajak seluruh personel memperkuat soliditas internal dan sinergi dengan TNI, pemerintah daerah, serta seluruh elemen masyarakat demi menjaga stabilitas keamanan di Jawa Barat.
“Perkembangan situasi kamtibmas saat ini menuntut kita untuk bekerja lebih cepat, tepat, dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi maupun dinamika sosial masyarakat,” pungkasnya.
