Wakapolda Jabar Cek Jalur Selatan hingga Patroli Pantai
Dalam rangka memastikan kesiapan pengamanan wilayah selatan, Wakapolda Jawa Barat Brigjen Pol Adi Vivid Agustiadi Bachtiar bersama para Pejabat Utama (PJU) Polda Jabar melaksanakan pengecekan jalur serta patroli di sejumlah titik strategis di Kabupaten Garut. Rabu (25/3/2026).
Kegiatan diawali dengan pengecekan jalur wilayah selatan Garut yang meliputi Pos Pengamanan (Pos Pam) Cikajang, Polsek Cisompet, serta Pos Pantau Satpolair di kawasan Karangpapak. Pengecekan ini bertujuan untuk memastikan kesiapsiagaan personel serta kelancaran arus lalu lintas, khususnya dalam menghadapi arus mudik dan aktivitas masyarakat.
Dalam kegiatan tersebut, rombongan juga melakukan pemantauan langsung terhadap kondisi jalur yang kerap dilalui masyarakat, termasuk titik-titik rawan kemacetan maupun potensi gangguan keamanan.
Setelah melakukan pengecekan jalur menggunakan kendaraan roda dua (R2), kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan patroli dialogis di kawasan pesisir, tepatnya di Pantai Karangpapak, Kabupaten Garut. Dalam patroli tersebut, petugas menyapa masyarakat dan wisatawan, sekaligus memberikan imbauan terkait keselamatan, khususnya di area pantai.
Kapolres Garut menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya memastikan seluruh personel dan sarana prasarana pengamanan dalam kondisi siap, serta memberikan rasa aman kepada masyarakat.
“Kami ingin memastikan seluruh jalur dan titik pengamanan di wilayah selatan siap, sehingga masyarakat dapat beraktivitas dengan aman dan nyaman,” ujarnya.
Selain itu, patroli dialogis juga menjadi sarana untuk mendekatkan diri dengan masyarakat serta menyampaikan pesan-pesan kamtibmas secara langsung. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan situasi keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat di wilayah selatan Kabupaten Garut tetap terjaga, serta arus lalu lintas dapat berjalan lancar dan kondusif.
