KOTA BOGOR – Dalam rangka menanamkan kesadaran tertib berlalu lintas sejak usia dini, Satuan Lalu Lintas (Satlantas) Polresta Bogor Kota melaksanakan kegiatan Police Goes To School di SDN Julang, Kecamatan Tanah Sareal, Kota Bogor. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program Polantas Menyapa, yang bertujuan mendekatkan Polri dengan dunia pendidikan serta membangun karakter disiplin dan keselamatan pada generasi muda.
Kegiatan tersebut diikuti oleh para siswa-siswi SDN Julang dengan penuh antusias. Personel Satlantas Polresta Bogor Kota hadir memberikan edukasi seputar tata tertib berlalu lintas yang disampaikan secara sederhana, komunikatif, dan mudah dipahami oleh anak-anak. Materi yang diberikan antara lain pengenalan rambu-rambu lalu lintas, pentingnya menggunakan helm saat dibonceng sepeda motor, cara menyeberang jalan yang benar, serta sikap disiplin dan patuh terhadap aturan.
Selain edukasi lalu lintas, personel Polantas juga menyampaikan pesan-pesan Kamtibmas yang relevan bagi pelajar tingkat sekolah dasar, seperti pentingnya menjaga keamanan diri, menghormati guru dan orang tua, serta membiasakan perilaku tertib dan disiplin dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hal ini diharapkan dapat membentuk karakter positif sejak dini, sekaligus menanamkan pemahaman bahwa keselamatan merupakan tanggung jawab bersama.
Kasat Lantas Polresta Bogor Kota melalui personelnya menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan Police Goes To School merupakan salah satu upaya preventif Polri dalam menekan angka pelanggaran dan kecelakaan lalu lintas di masa mendatang. Dengan memberikan edukasi sejak usia dini, diharapkan anak-anak dapat tumbuh menjadi generasi yang sadar hukum, disiplin, dan memiliki budaya tertib berlalu lintas.
“Melalui kegiatan Polantas Menyapa ini, kami ingin menanamkan nilai-nilai keselamatan dan disiplin sejak dini. Anak-anak adalah generasi penerus, sehingga edukasi yang baik hari ini akan berdampak besar bagi keselamatan berlalu lintas di masa depan,” ujar salah satu personel Satlantas Polresta Bogor Kota.
Pihak sekolah SDN Julang menyambut baik kegiatan tersebut dan mengapresiasi kehadiran Satlantas Polresta Bogor Kota. Kegiatan ini dinilai sangat positif dan bermanfaat bagi siswa, karena selain menambah pengetahuan, juga membangun kedekatan emosional antara anak-anak dengan Polri.
Dengan dilaksanakannya kegiatan Police Goes To School ini, Polresta Bogor Kota berharap sinergi antara Polri dan dunia pendidikan dapat terus terjalin dengan baik, guna menciptakan lingkungan yang aman, tertib, dan kondusif, serta membentuk generasi muda yang berkarakter, disiplin, dan peduli terhadap keselamatan berlalu lintas.
