Jakarta. Kapolri Jenderal Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo meresmikan Balai Latihan Polisi Peduli Pengangguran (Poliran) Polda Banten, sebuah inisiatif strategis dalam mendukung pemberdayaan masyarakat dan mengatasi masalah pengangguran di wilayah hukum Polda Banten. Peresmian dilaksanakan pada Selasa (18/03).
Kapolri menyatakan, Balai Poliran merupakan tempat yang sangat bermanfaat untuk mempersiapkan tenaga kerja produktif yang siap disalurkan ke perusahaan-perusahaan mitra.
“Balai Poliran adalah tempat yang sangat bermanfaat karena bisa mempersiapkan tenaga kerja produktif yang dapat disalurkan ke perusahaan-perusahaan yang telah menandatangani kerja sama. Di sini, tenaga kerja akan diberikan pelatihan, sertifikasi, dan keterampilan yang siap pakai,” ujar Kapolri, Selasa (18/3/2025).
“Selain itu, ada juga pendidikan kewirausahaan, termasuk pelatihan pengolahan limbah menjadi produk ekspor, peternakan ikan dan ayam, serta pembuatan pupuk dan tanaman hidroponik. Saya mendapat laporan bahwa pada gelombang pertama akan dilatih 96 peserta, dan progresnya ditargetkan mencapai 3.000 peserta dalam tahun ini,” lanjut Kapolri.
Adapun tiga sektor utama yang menjadi fokus pelatihan di Balai Latihan Poliran:
1. Sektor Industri – Melatih keterampilan khusus dan soft skill bagi tenaga kerja.
2. Sektor Ketahanan Pangan – Memberikan pelatihan pertanian, peternakan, dan perikanan.
3. Sektor Lingkungan Hidup – Mendidik peserta tentang pengolahan sampah dan pemanfaatan limbah menjadi produk bernilai ekonomi.
Dalam acara peresmian ini, juga dilaksanakan Gerakan Penanaman Serentak 2 Juta Bibit Cabai, sebagai bagian dari Program Pekarangan Pangan Lestari (P2L).
“Bahwa saya mendukung penuh kegiatan Poliran diharapkan Poliran dapat melatih masyarakat menjadi tenaga kerja yang profesional yang dibutuhkan oleh dunia industri sehingga Balai Poliran dapat menjembatani masyarakat dengan perusahaan yang ada,” tutur Kapolri.
Dalam peresmian ini, Kapolri didampingi oleh PJU Mabes Polri, Kapolda Banten Irjen Pol Suyudi Ario Seto, Wakapolda Banten Brigjen Pol Hengki, serta dihadiri oleh Gubernur Banten Andra Soni, Danrem 064/Maulana Yusuf Brigjen Tni Andrian Susanto, Ketua DPRD Banten Fahmi Hakim, Kajati Banten Siswanto dan Pejabat Utama Polda Banten.
