Kapolda Jabar mengatakan bahwa di lingkungan Polda Jabar, berbagai kebijakan pro- kesetaraan telah menghasilkan perubahan signifikan. Sejumlah Polwan kini menduduki posisi strategis, mendapatkan akses pelatihan lanjutan, serta terlibat aktif dalam fungsi-fungsi teknis yang selama ini cenderung didominasi personel laki-laki. Selain itu, Polda Jabar juga memperkuat perlindungan dan kenyamanan lingkungan kerja bagi seluruh personel perempuan.
Penganugerahan ini sekaligus mengukuhkan Polda Jabar sebagai salah satu role model nasional dalam penerapan program kesetaraan gender di lingkungan Kepolisian. Tahun ini, sebanyak 29 satuan kerja Polri mengikuti proses nominasi, dan hanya empat Kapolda dinyatakan memenuhi seluruh aspek penilaian melalui verifikasi lapangan, termasuk Kapolda Jabar.
Kapolda Jabar menegaskan bahwa penghargaan ini tidak hanya menjadi bentuk pengakuan, tetapi juga motivasi untuk mempercepat reformasi internal terkait pemberdayaan perempuan. “Ini merupakan hasil kerja kolektif seluruh jajaran. “Kami akan terus memperkuat kebijakan dan program yang memastikan setiap personel—laki-laki maupun perempuan—memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk berkembang dan berkontribusi,” ujarnya, Jum’at (28/11/2025)
